Get Summer Crafting Ready with Craft Kits

Hey Belle Hey-

I took a much needed April break off to enjoy arts and crafts with family time but I’m back just in time to get summer craft ready!

I really enjoy the process of making things from start to scratch but, there are times when I want to create and have all of the supplies in one place in a kit. Another thing about having craft kids handy is that they can be the perfect attention grabber if you have little people around that you want to keep busy. I decided this month to test out a seasonal kit from Target’s craft section.

I purchased a paint kit that was reasonably priced ($5.00 not including tax). The kit included 2 paint brushes, 3 wooden paintable flowers, and a basic paint set.

I did pull out a paper plate and a cup for water to wash off my paint brush. Since the paint colors are just primary colors so using a plate you can mix colors together to make new colors (this can be an amazing lesson with little people).

I really enjoyed this activity and I highly recommend grabbing some craft kits for entertaining, stress breaks, rainy days, or as activities for mini-party takeaways.

Belle Tip: You can also use sharpies for outlining your paint designs to make the colors pop more.

I also have a few other craft kit favorites from Pom Stich & Tassel and Damask Love. Have you tried any craft kits- comment below!

As always,
