#HowHolly- Ending 2025 with a Canvas Craft
Hey Belle Hey-
Welcome to our last blog post for 2025. I don’t know about you but sometimes in my studio I have some crafts that are in my “I’m going to finish it pile” and today I am sharing one that I have been tripping over so I finally decided to finish the DIY.
This project consists of two things, a black canvas frame and an iron design made with my Cricut machine. The design was going to go on a shirt but because it was large, I had to find another way to use the design.
The first thing I did to prep the canvas for the iron is to make sure that I used my easy press to warm up the back of the canvas. I placed the image on the front of the Canvas and then flipped it over to continue ironing the back of the Canvas.
After heating the back of the Canvas with heavy hand pressure, I flipped it over to continue ironing on the image while keeping a protective cover over the design.
Belle Tip: When I flipped the canvas over, I used the mini press to make sure I did not break the Canvas.
