Hey Belle Hey-

Welcome to March, my favorite time of the year- new flowers are growing, new trees sprout up and while I don’t always enjoy the time springing forward, I really love having more daylight. My coworkers gifted me the perfect Bridgerton mug that had a saying with exactly how I approach heading into spring…

Bridgerton Mug that says Do It. Be Bold

This month I’m adding a few new things to my spring schedule…. I’m going to start taking a 30-minute lunch break once a week to practice hand letting with a coworker…I will share our hand lettering bags in next month’s post and I’m taking a class to help with the behind the scenes of Posh. Glam, & Pristine and the PGPStudio. The class adventure actually prompted this month’s blog post because I realized I needed a notebook. I didn’t realize that cute back to school notebooks disappear and for the limited ones that were out I couldn’t justify the cost….there were some that were smaller (the price wasn’t small) but I really wanted a standard school notebook. I stumbled across the everyday notebook and decided to dress it up in the studio.

Compoosition notebook, scrapbook paper, pencil, modpodge, scissors

All of these supplies I had in the studio which made this DIY the perfect craft. This isn’t a headliner craft; you can easily find different ways to customize a notebook. I decided to use a piece of 12x24 scrapbook paper in my stash that I had been holding to avoid cutting it into small pieces.

One thing I found helpful was to use one of my scraper tools to make sure my paper laid flat. I also flipped my notebook face down so that the paper would not curl up while it was drying.

Belle Tip: You could also use sticker paper instead of glue.
