2021 Belle'o'Ween DIY Blog Costume Round Up

Hey Belle Hey-

I am so excited to be back with my Halloween Blog tradition of DIY Costumes!!!!!!!!!! This is year 4 and at this point I’ve come to realize that I’m a little low key Halloween or Craftoween obsessed.

If this is your first trip to this blog post here’s how it works….I feature some of my favorite bloggers, DIYers, Makers, and Lifestyle creatives websites showing DIY costumes that range from easy to advanced. This year is year four so at this point we can’t stop the costume craftiness now. You can check out previous year’s posts below:

Costume 1: Damask Love is a craft favorite here and this costume is the perfect way to bring a little sunshine on a fall day. It’s simple enough a kid or novice crafter could accomplish. You could even step the game up and switch into a BFF/couple costume by making one costume as clouds and the other as the sun.

Costume 2: Can I just confess- I am a total stationery hoarder and a true lover of the traditional pencil over a mechanical pencil so when I saw this costume it was love at first write! Oh Yay Studio has got you covered if you enjoy putting pencil to paper or if you’re a teacher who spends a lot of time writing.

Costume 3: Game On! This DIY Pac-Man costume by Club Crafted is an easy way to bring some nostalgia back into your life. This costume could be a novice costume by ironing on the designs on an old black dress but if you’re feeling daring you could make your black dress as well.

Costume 4: Can we be Mermaids….I’m sure you know there is a live action version of the Little Mermaid and I sense that mermaid costumes will be a trend for the next few years so to get the party started check out Craftbox Girls DIY and this one even includes a video for putting together this costume.

I hope you enjoyed this round up- and I can’t wait to see what you DIY for Halloween…I’m going to get started right night!
