#HowHolly Use the Craft Supplies in Your Studio (or Home)

Hey Belle Hey-

Welcome to May!!! I feel like there is so much to type in this blog post, but I don’t even know where to start. I have managed to maintain my goal of posting a blog post at the start of each month all while life has been life’ing (I know it’s not a real word but sometimes you have to make up your own word to describe the chaos).

Even in the midst of navigating life’s twists and turns I have managed to finish a few books and start a new one that while different are all about finding joy.

At the start of the year, I shared one of my craft goals was a studio space redo and while I love shopping in reading these two books, I learned that I have been finding joy by using the items in my studio.

With my newly discovered joy in my studio, I wanted to share 3 easy ways to use craft supplies you already have. Also, a special shoutout to my Work BFF, Jessica V. for asking me can I do a thing and trusting me to make it happen.

T-shirt that says I'm Turtely Pregnant

First up is a DIY T-Shirt. (P.S. this shirt is not mine; it’s not an announcement…lol). When I first started making shirts, I always overestimated how large the design needed to be (I just did it again the other day, but I’ll be turning that mess up into a blog post soon). I keep a plastic 3 bin drawer that holds transfer tape, iron-on vinyl, and vinyl separated once I finish a project. I always check that bin before opening a new roll or going to the store.

Planner notebook with my monogram

The next way to use your craft supplies is to add a saying or in my case a monogram (southern girls live for monograms & sweet tea) onto something you have had for a while. I can’t resist a monogram and when I first purchased this happy planner cover, I knew that it would have a monogram at some point. I have had this cover for a few years now, so I decided it was time to add something new using iron-on vinyl. Cricut Design space’s monogram generator is a game changer and so much fun to use.

Honey jar with tag that says Sweet Like Jennifer

Lastly, this was a special ask from my Work Bestie, and I had so much fun watching this sweet gift come to life. I have used a lot more vinyl in 2025, but I am a paper lover by heart so when my Work Bestie needed some unique tags for a honey gift I was happy to go through my stash to bring her design to life.

What are some ways you use your craft supplies? Comment below and

As Always,
