New Year, New Craft Goals in 2025

Cue the sparkles because we’ve made it to 2025!

Last year was the first year that I wrote about my crafting goals, I called it my ‘soft craft era’ and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to share my 2025 crafting goals.

I found myself revisiting the post as a reminder. I had three goals in mind: wax sealing, hand embroidery, and sewing embroidery. The only one I didn’t manage to reach was the sewing embroidery and that’s because I need to purchase a sewing machine.

Let’s Dive into My 2025 Crafting Goals….

First on the list is an office redo. I have had my desk and some cube shelves that I put together in the studio for a while. One of the shelves is just one touch from falling apart and with that in mind I am hoping to revamp that space to add a large table surface space. Don’t worry, I plan to bring you all along on the change…I am sure there will be giggles and glitter galore.

Next on the list is to share my monthly planner spreads. I really enjoy planning my month out using a paper planner and I have been a planner girl since I was a little kid. Even when I taught kindergarten my little people had planners (they were only gluing in our homework for the week and our behavior chart, but it counts). With this crafting goal, I want to get more comfortable in sharing how I plan out the crafts I post and to use this as a way to be more consistent with filming crafting content…there is one more reason that goes with this, but you will have to keep following for the reveal later this year!

The final craft goal for this year is to use my Cricut tools and knowledge to host my first workshop. I didn’t write this goal down last year, but it was on my mind. I did have an opportunity to host a workshop for two groups of high school students, but I am hoping to take my love of tea parties and create a tea party crafting workshop before the end of the year.
