New Year, New Craft Goals in 2024

Hey Belle Hey…Welcome to 2024!

I am so excited to jump into what I am calling my ‘soft craft’ era…it’s something about turning 40& last month that has led me to find crafts that allow my to slow down and pay attention to the little details.

Before I sat down to think about this post, I revisited last year’s craft goals and I was very happy to see I almost hit all of them minus more videos (I have a plan in place for that this year).

Here are my 2024 craft goals….

1. Wax Sealing

I started wax sealing towards the end of 2023 and it’s going to help me accomplish my video goals because I will be doing an unboxing overview of the wax sealing subscription I have been using.

2. Hand Embroidery

I stumbled on this craft when a crafty college friend posted a picture of her daughter’s jeans with an added touch of embroidery and I thought they were the sweetest. I have never done embroidery and paper is my favorite medium so I am hoping to create some crafts that intertwine both.

3. Sewing Embroidery

The last craft goes with the hand embroidery but I am planning to add a new craft machine to my team of cricuts and that is an embroidery machine. I grew up in the south and with my love for sweet tea I must admit my love for monograms runs just as deep. In fact the monogram feature on Cricut is one of my favorite things for a quick personalized gift. I think that love has helped me find an interest in embroidery. I just love how adding a touch of handmade takes even the simplest item and turns it into a fabulous treasure.
